Local Volunteers: those Everyday Superheroes

Often when people think of Hero’s, they imagine superheroes with powers such as shape shifting, physical and mental domination. They are heroic characters who possess extraordinary talents, or the individuals that you hear about in the news that have performed one or many great acts of courage. What about our local superheroes, those everyday members of society who give up their time to help individuals, businesses and organizations in order to help support and reinforce our local communities.

Psychology of Color

Do you automatically think about the Christmas Season when you think of the colors Red and Green together? Can you visualize red stockings and green Christmas trees, green and red clad elves dancing around Santa’s workshop, and of course the big red suited man in charge, jolly old Saint Nick? Festivities, merriment and memories, and of course SHOPPING! This time of year for business owners the colors red and green signify red sale tags and green dollar signs.  Isn’t it amazing what thoughts can be stimulated by thinking only of two simple colors….RED and GREEN?
